1. Boxing that fits
We use three types of exterior packing: wood, cardboard and skidboxing. Our 12’-24’ rods are packed in custom built wood crates to protect against jostling and preserve the straightness of the bars. In addition to wood boxes, larger items may also be packed in skidboxes connected directly to wood pallets for ease of transport and storage. Smaller products like studs are perfect for corrugated cardboard boxes with durable layers of dividers and paper to help avoid any nicking.
2. Protective interior
To sustain our threads’ quality finish and craftsmanship, Rolled Threads Unlimited offers various protective coverings inside our wood or cardboard boxes. At customer request, we can include sleeving, tubing, foam, bubble wrap and heavy-duty cardboard tubing, all of which add an additional level of protection during the shipping process.
3. Corrosion protection finishes
Extra layers of protection can be considered for parts that are susceptible to corrosion by storage conditions. Rolled Threads Unlimited can protect these parts by using rust preventative spray and rust inhibiting paper.
