Not only can we provide fasteners in multiple thread forms and a versatile range of material types and sizes, but we also provide various secondary processing operations. Two processes we use in manufacturing our fasteners include bending and centerless grinding.
Bending is a when metal is deformed by applying force which causes it to bend at an angle to form an expected shape. Through our vendor network Rolled Threads Unlimited has the capability to produce U-bolts, Square bolts, J-hooks, and other special forms based on customer prints.
Centerless Grinding nominal size steel rod to a smaller, tighter tolerance diameter is usually, but not always, required prior to thread rolling bars. Pre-roll diameter and tolerance can differ based on several variables including but not limited to material type (stainless vs low carbon), thread form and pitch, and thread fit required by our customer (2A vs 3A, 2G vs 2C etc.).
