Tie rods are structural units that prevent the separation of two parts and are used in numerous industries and applications. Rolled Threads Unlimited produces tie rods that are most often used in hydraulic cylinders, valve applications, power generation machinery and heavy equipment.

In 2023, we expect the arrival of our new Videx high-speed planetary threads roller. This will increase our capacity to produce tie rods up to 1/2″ in diameter. This new machinery will go into our new manufacturing space along with additional packaging cells. With this new equipment, we can roll both ends of the parts at the same time which creates a higher output at an increased speed. It will also allow us to roll different thread lengths at the same time.
