We’re excited to highlight one of the newest pieces of equipment in our quality department: a custom-built 75-inch ProTable SA Single Axis Measuring System (LMM). The ProTable SA is designed to quickly and accurately measure long, narrow components such as shafts, tubes, cylinders, extruded parts, and other precision-manufactured products.
What does this mean for Rolled Threads Unlimited customers? This expanded 75-inch measuring capacity allows us to inspect longer parts with the confidence and precision you expect from every project.
The ProTable SA includes several advanced features that enhance efficiency and accuracy; most notably accuracy better than ±0.003 inches across the full 75-inch measuring range. The ProTable’s configurable design also allows for a variety of accessories, including custom jaws, V-blocks, back fences, optical systems, and mobile leg kits. This makes the machine a versatile solution for inspecting a wide range of part geometries and customer requirements.
This investment expands our inspection capabilities, allowing us to verify critical dimensions more efficiently, maintain tight tolerances, and continue delivering the precision and quality our customers rely on.
